Mis B-Haven Doodles' Puppy Contract
This contract is between Mis B-Haven Doodles & the purchaser of a Labradoodle or Goldendoodle puppy.
Mis B-Haven Doodles will guarantee that my puppy will be free of any disease, at the time of puppy delivery. My puppy will come to me with up to date vaccinations & de-worming. My puppy will have a micro-chip implanted & all necessary paper work will be provided to activate the micro-chip number. My puppy is coming to me with a Health Certificate by a licensed Veterinarian.
I understand that the puppy I am buying is from health tested parents, both parents Hips have been X-Rayed, & have received a Fair, Good or Excellent rating by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). Both parents have had their eyes examined by a California board certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist & there were no genetic defects found. I understand that my puppy can not be guaranteed against genetic disorders, & Mis B-Haven Doodles will replace my puppy in the unfortunate event that my puppy develops life threatening Hip Dysphasia, Patella Luxation, or Progressive Retinal Atrophy. I will receive a puppy equal or of better value. If I want the money back I understand that I must accept the puppy replacement & sell that puppy for the cash. Mis B-Haven Doodles will be responsible for selling the replacement puppy for me.
I understand that I am expected to have my puppy examined by my own veterinarian at my expense with in 2 business days of taking possession of my puppy. I understand that if I fail to get the puppy examined by a Veterinarian Mis B-Haven Doodles can not be responsible for any illness that my puppy may suffer in the early weeks of possession & the health warrantee will be forfeited immediately.
I understand that if my Veterinarian does find something wrong Mis B-Haven Doodles will split the cost of the Veterinarian Bill, with in reason. Mis B-Haven Doodles reserves the right to have a 2nd opinion at their expense.
My puppy comes to me with a 2 year genetic defect warrantee starting the day the puppy is born. (Example: if my puppy was born on April 22, 2004, my puppy warrantee will be good through April 22, 2006.) Diagnostic testing will NOT be included in reimbursement, Treatment ONLY will be refunded.
I understand that this puppy is being delivered to me with the condition that I will not breed this puppy. & I will have this puppy altered with in the first 6 months of age, unless specific breeding rights were purchased. When My puppy has been altered (spayed/neutered) I understand that I need to provide Mis B-Haven Doodles with a copy of the health records proving that my puppy has infact been altered, If I do not provide this documentation by the time my puppy is 6 months of age my Health Warrantee will be NULL & VOIDED, & Legal action may follow, in the unfortunate event of any Legal Actions any & all court proceedings & hearings will take place in the Bakersfield California Small Claims Court, Buyer would be responsible for any & all court costs.
To give this dog the best chance to be a positive addition to my family I will put this puppy through basic obedience training, either through a professional trainer, or myself providing that I am fully capable. Basic training should be at a minimum of, sit, stay, come, stay, & leash obedient. This is to ensure the success of this puppy & the happiness of you as a new owner, this will give the puppy every chance to be successful, thus de-crease the chance of this puppy being re-homed or un-wanted.
I understand that if this is a first generation cross Doodle it is not guaranteed
to be hypo-allergenic or non-shedding.
I am also aware that all deposits are non refundable,, if you do not get a puppy in the litter you have requested then your name will be put directly onto the very next litter If you back out of your list your check WILL be deposited & fowarded to the Kern County Animal Shelter as a donation under Jodi Russell. This is the only way we feel we can be fair.. Please do not ask for your depsoits to be returned!!.
